
We are delighted to announce that Sashen Windsor, a Computer Science Special Degree student, was awarded the Best Research Paper at the International Conference on ICT for Emerging Regions, held in November 2025. His winning research, titled “A Hybrid Adaptive Segmentation Pipeline with NURBS Surface Reconstruction for 3D Liver Tumor Modeling,” reflects an outstanding contribution to medical imaging and computational modeling. This research project was carried out as part of his special degree under the supervision of Prof. R. G. N. Meegama.
